Meet the Doula
Hi, I’m TyEnna,
As a community-based doula, student midwife, and social worker, I am dedicated to supporting you through your journey into parenthood. With comprehensive training in perinatal mental health, as well as birth, labor, and postpartum care, I am here to provide personalized, compassionate care every step of the way. I believe in a holistic approach that prioritizes your well-being, offering not just reproductive support but also essential resources, emotional care, and family care plans tailored to your unique needs. Together, we will create a supportive and empowering experience for you and your family.
Birth work is something I feel has come naturally to me. Something I feel called to do. I can say the same about being a mother as well. I value my role and put that energy into the work I do for others. As someone who has experienced disparities in maternal health, providing accessible care that prioritizes reproductive justice is very important. I also understand how complex it can be to be all the things we want to be both personally and professionally, so forming a community within our organization has always been a move that makes sense. I wouldn’t be here without my village and hope to be that source for others as well.
Outside of the birth world, I’m just a girl who enjoys being a part of the solution. Whether that’s planning and hosting parties or moderating good conversations, I thrive off of engagement. While embracing the balance, I also enjoy girl time, being around my family, spa treatments, binge-watching shows, being a foodie, traveling and so much more!
